Stopped here to look for plants to collect. Found this fawn instead. It didn't move a muscle, except for breathing. Took its photo, and went somewhere else to collect. One of those magic moments that happen now and then.

There is a short stub that continues on the crest of the moraine about another 80 meters. However, the road turns southeast and make a steep descent. Be careful!

The photograph looks northwest, up Forest Road 1S104 toward the rim of the moraine. There is a nice view of Grant Lake from up there, but the road is very steep and sandy near the top.
