Colorado School of Mines property, approximately 45 acres in size. The lowest part of the Chimney Gulch Trail crosses this land from north to south. The Welch Ditch enters this parcel in the northwest corner and leaves by way of the east boundary. While hang gliders occasionally land on this property, they more generally land in Parfet Open Space Park of the City of Golden that is immediately to the east.
