Query: G.N.I.S.

See also: Current Creek Mountains.

Possibly the "Currant Creek Mountains" of Marcus E. Jones.

However, the Snake Mountains are known by many other names, along them: Antelope Peak Mountains, Bishop Creek Mountains, Burnt Creek Mountains, Burnt Peak Mountains, Fountain Head Hills, Hot Creek Mountains, O'Neil Mountains, Snake Mountain, Stormy Mountains, Tabor Mountains, Tucubits Mountains, Wildcat Mountains, Bishop Creek Range, and Snake Range. But, there is no information to suggest the Snake Mountains were once named the Currant Creek Mountains.
