No. 3345, 24 July 2024, characters observed: Perennial grass, to 60 cm., cespitose; Leaves, sheath, open, ligule, membranous, 5 mm., bifid, auricles, 0, blade, 25 cm. × 1 mm. wide, involute, glabrous, but white-spotted; Inflorescence, 1 per culm, <leaves, panicle, 95 mm. × 65 mm. wide, #3 branches; Rachis, not extended, plumose hairy; Spikelets, many, 11 mm. × 2.6 mm. wide, similar, borne singly, stalked, pedicels 1.5-3.0 mm.; Compression, unremarkable; Disarticulation, between florets; Glumes, lower, 3.7 mm., veins, #1, upper, 4 mm., veins, #3, <lowest floret, colors green to purple to scarious, awns, 0; Florets, 4 per spikelet, Axis (within the spikelet), extended beyond upper floret; Lemma, 6.8 mm. >glumes, rolled, glabrous, veins, #5, glabrous, tip, acute to 0.2 mm. awn; Palea, 6.3 mm., <lemma; Anthers, 4 mm., purple.
