No. 692, 10 Nov 2011, characters observed while keying: Perennial spreading by rhizomes; Leaves opposite, cauline 4 pairs, reduced above, w/o embedded oil glands; Involucre 10 mm, 12 mm dia.; Receptacle naked; Phyllaries ~14, in one series, 9 mm, w/o embedded oil glands; Rays ~ 12, yellow, 15 mm, strap 10 mm x 3 mm wide; Disc flowers ~40, yellow, 6 mm, 2 mm wide; Achenes black, 3 mm, pappus of hairs, white, short-barbed.
