Madia glomerata Hook.  Mountain Tarweed.

Ranson/Edwards Homestead Open Space Park, Jefferson County, Colorado. High plains above Rocky Flats, 1.7 miles west on Colorado Highway 72 from Colorado Highway 93, 0.9 miles generally north on Plainview Road, then 330 m west along a small stream. 39.88666°N, 105.26569°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1968 m. More seen just east (downstream) of the small reservoir on this same stream.
