No. 289, 26 May 2001, characters observed: Annual, tap-rooted, to 40 cm.; Leaves, basal and cauline, alternate, dissected into linear lobes, glandular punctate; Inflorescence, composed of 2 kinds of flowers; Phyllaries, in 2 equal series (appearing as though outer < inner), outer basally fused, without large glands; Receptacle epaleate; Pappus of well-developed scales on ray and disk flowers.
