North Table Mountain Park, Jefferson County, Colorado. Lower east slopes of North Table Mountain, between North Table Loop and Mesa Top Trail, 0.7 km. northwest of the Easley Road trailhead; 3.9 km. northeast of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.7841°N, 105.1952°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1798 m. Grassy southeast-facing slope.

Coll. No. 1518, 29 July 2016, characters observed: Perennial, shrub-like, to 30 cm.; Leaves, alternate, sessile, 80 mm. × 15 mm. wide, lanceolate, deeply toothed (runcinate); Heads, many; Phyllaries, 3 graduated series, 4-9 mm. × 1.3-1.5 mm. wide; Flowers, 1 kind; Rays, #5, 12 mm. × 2.5 mm. wide, white, fading tan; Pappus, bristles, connate into 5 groups corresponding to ribs of cypsela, 7 mm., plumose upper 3/4; Cypsela, 4 mm., beak, 0, rugose-tuberculate, 5 broad ribs.
