Coal Creek Canyon Study Area, Lacey Parcel, Jefferson County, Colorado. Forest glade on right bank of Coal Creek, 1.37 km. west northwest of Coal Creek Fire Station #3, 14.9 km. north northwest of Golden. 39.87786°N, 105.29247°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2057 m. Forest glade in openings between Pinus ponderosa, with Eriogonum umbellatum, Clematis hirsuta, and Bromus inermis.
