Several maps, such as the Delorme Utah Atlas & Gazetteer (1993), Google Maps, and Yahoo Maps, show a "Horse Tanks Road" looping through this area east of Utah Highway 95. In fact what the maps show as Horse Tanks Road are segments of White Canyon North Road, Fortknocker Canyon Road, Wooden Shoe Road, and Found Mesa Road. There is a real Horse Tanks Road out here, but it is a very short segment from Fortknocker Canyon Road to Horse Tanks. |
