The numbers in brackets are the taxon number in the SEINet taxon tree. Names were determined based on a cross-reference of FNANM, Nesom & Baird (1993), and the Global Composite Checklist. Initially, the Plant List was also consulted. However, the Plant List was mostly redundant with the Global Composite Checklist, from which its data was taken.

I have been informed that my work is unworthy of consideration because I insert a blank character between the first and second initial of an author's name. For example, in the second line hereunder, I list an author's name as “G. L. Nesom” instead of “G.L. Nesom.” I am aware that some botanical publications do not place the blank space between an author's fist and second initials, whereas others do. In my defense, should anyone give a rat's ass, I should like to point out that I have attempted to standardize author's names per FNANM. Should you trouble yourself to go check, you will see that FNANM places a blank character between the first and second initials of authors' names. Closer to home, in the four most-recent publications about Colorado flora, two authors, Ackerfield (2015) and Wingate (2017), do not insert the blank character and two, Shaw (2008) and Weber & Wittmann (2012) insert the blank.
