See Quail Hill and Mokaac Pass. Palmer's No. 49 states Mokiak Pass is about 20 miles south of Saint George. Coll No. 377 says Mokiak Pass is 10 miles southeast of Saint George. There are also multiple references to "Mokaic Pass and Juniper Mountains (Grand Cliffs Wash vicinity)" in Palmer's collections. McWaugh (1943) passes on information that Mokiak Pass lies on the road to Wolf Hole, about 40 miles south of St. George. The only pass on that road is now known as Quail Hill.
