An unnamed sand flat near Wilson Butte and Deadman Summit. There is an old airfield in the northern part of this flat. Some sources state it dates from WWI. WWII seems more likely to me.

This flat is of interest because the northernmost collection of Penstemon papillatus J. T. Howell, the Inyo Beardtongue, was made by Dean Wm. Taylor at this flat.
