Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve.
The geographic coordinates given by the GNIS (37.9454818, -119.0198675) place this location about 500 meters off shore north of Navy Beach. I have moved it back on shore and slightly more to the west, to the center of the largest section of tufa. This video is from Mammoth72.com.
