Small creek in the Southern Coast Ranges of California. Drains to Shandon and the Estrella River, which eventually joins the Salinas River.

Shell Creek is a popular place for viewing wildflowers in early spring. It was one of my mother's favorite places, and she painted several scenes here. Some of her ashes are spread along Shell Creek.
