Gulch is very northern Jefferson County. Tributary to Doudy Draw and then Boulder Creek.

“Doudy Hollow” is an older name for the lower part of Bull Gulch (USGS, 1906). The name does not now appear in the GNIS.

Gannett (1906) also uses the Doudy Hollow name, noting that it is “valley in Jefferson and Boulder counties, tributary to Coal Creek.” Gannett (1906) does not list Bull Gulch.

Bull Gulch first appears on the 1942 El Dorado Springs quadrangle, and the name Doudy Draw appears below the railroad.

There are eight other locations named “Bull Gulch” in Colorado. None of them are in Jefferson County.

Elevation: 6168ft, 1880m.
