There is a trail visible in GoogleEarth from the east edge of Chapin Mesa, going down into Soda Canyon. This trail is in the southernmost notch above Soda Canyon, and a little more than a half mile north of Soda Point.

The coordinates given here are on the edge of the mesa at the top of the trail.
