Wendover is a city on the western edge of Tooele County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,115 at the 2020 census. The town was established in 1908 as a station stop on the Western Pacific Railroad, then under construction.[6] The town's name comes from either railroad surveyor Charles Wendover[7] or from "wending over" the desert.
