Solidago rigida L. var. humilis Porter.  Stiff Goldenrod.

North Table Mountain Open Space (City of Golden), Jefferson County, Colorado. On an old road that formerly went to the top of the mesa, in an area of hummocky terrain that is probably an ancient landslide, 2.3 km. (geodesic) north of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.77675°N, 105.2252°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1912 m. Leaves 1-nerved, inflorescence flat-topped, phyllaries with 5 parallel nerves. Low shrubs and grasses, with: Achillea millefolium, Grindelia subalpina, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Heterotheca villosa, Liatris punctata, Bromus inermis and B. japonicus. This area was designated a City of Golden open space in 2025.
