Sonchus asper (L.) Hill.  Spiny Sowthistle.

DeLong Park (City of Golden), Jefferson County, Colorado. Northeast corner of the park, near 23rd Street. 39.749°N, 105.208°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1763 m. Also here: Ambrosia psilostachya, Lepidium draba, Trifolium repens, Agropyron cristatum, Cenchrus longispinus, and Dactylis glomerata. DeLong Park was a private residence that was left fallow for a number of years, then converted to a city park in 2021-2022.
