Oenothera coronopifolia Torr. & A. Gray.  Crownleaf Evening Primrose. Hierba de San Juan..

North Twin Creek, Jefferson County, Colorado. Along horse/cow trail above the left bank of the creek, about 100 m. upstream of the F. R. 211 crossing of North Twin Creek, 6.8 mi. west and south on F. R. 211 from its north end at County Road 126, 11.6 km. southwest of Deckers. 39.20875°N, 105.3459°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2410 m. Flowers white, fading pink. Mature Douglas fir and ponderosa pine forest, with Oxytropis lambertii and Penstemon virens nearby. Within the perimeter of the Hayman Fire (2002); this area is mapped as low intensity.
