Carex leptalea Wahlenberg.  Bristly-stalked Sedge.

North Twin Creek, Jefferson County, Colorado. On a right branch of North Twin Creek, about 900 m. upstream of the F. R. 211 crossing of North Twin Creek, 6.8 mi. west and south on F. R. 211 from its north end at County Road 126, 11.6 km. southwest of Deckers. 39.2145°N, 105.35142°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2471 m. Accidental collection with #3439.2. A tiny little piece that probably does not deserve a voucher. Bank of creek among aspen and river birch, with Mertensia ciliata, Dasiphora fruticosa, Platanthera aquilonis, Juncus ensifolius, and Carex stipata. Within the perimeter of the Hayman Fire (2002), though this area mapped as low intensity; vegetated only on the creek, forest not re-established away from creek.
