Oxytropis sericea Torr. & A. Gray.  White Locoweed.

Salt Creek, Park County, Colorado. Small valley between two ridges, just north of Salt Creek and Pike-San Isabel National Forest Road 435 "Salt Creek Road," 3.1 mi. by road west of US Highway 285, 145 km. southwest of the GNIS location of Golden. 38.9591N, 106.0121W. WGS 1984 Elev. 2858 m. Flowers white. Valley bottom, around a small grove of aspens, also collected here: Oenothera coronopifolia, Penstemon virgatus var. asa-grayi and Artemisia frigida. Variety sericea if infraspecific names are to be applied.
