Krascheninnikovia lanata (Pursh) A. D. J. Meeuse & Smit.  Winter Fat.

Parfet Open Space, Jefferson County, Colorado. North-facing slope between Parfet Estates and US Highway 6, about mid-slope between the Welch Ditch and the houses, 1.1km. (geodesic) southwest of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.74875°N, 105.23082°W. WGS 1984 Elev. 1776 m. Staminate and pistillate plants. Also here: Juniperus virginiana, Ericameria nauseosa var. nauseosa, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Elaeagnus angustifolia, Oenothera howardii, Andropogon gerardii, Bouteloua curtipendula, and Nassela viridula. This parcel was designated a City of Golden open space in 2025.
