No. 335, 20 April 2004, characters observed while keying: Woody perennial to 1 m; Stem, branches straight, lateral becoming spines, thorns to 5 mm; Leaves, in alternate clusters, petiole 2 mm + blade 10 mm × 4.3 mm wide, obovate, flat in cross-section; Inflorescence, single flowers with leaf clusters; Pedicel 4 mm, short glandular hairy; Calyx, 7 mm, bell-shaped, lobes 5, short glandular hairy; Sepals, fused, 4.0 mm + lobes 3.0 mm = 7 mm, glandular hairy; Corolla tube 14 mm + lobes 3 mm = 17 mm, lobes reflexed; Fruit 4 mm.
