East slope of the Tarryall Mountains, from the crest of the eastern Tarryall Mountains, down to the South Fork of the South Platte River. Access by Forest Road 211.

One of several geographic centers of Colorado are within this area, and numerous plants are georeferenced there that do not occur on the east slope of the Tarryall Mountains.
